Doug Crowther
Doug is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers. He has worked extensively with children, young people and families over the past 6 years.
He has experience in assisting children and families to overcome issues of loss, trauma, abuse, violence and other challengers in their lives and those close to them.
He has done training in a range of evidence based and empirically supported methodologies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Strengths Based Approaches.
Doug takes a systemic perspective in all his work. He has particular expertise in addressing the impacts of recent and historical traumas including sexual assault in adults and children. Doug also has expertise in addressing Sexualised Behaviour Problems in children under 10 years of age. As a counsellor, Doug provides collaborative and compassionate support as he journeys with clients through the challenges they face.

Allan has worked with a diverse range of teenagers and adults in various professional settings including prisons and 15 years in employment services.
