Bonnie Andersen

A Provisional Psychologist who completed her studies at Australian Catholic University. Following her graduation, Bonnie worked rurally for Central Queensland Rural Health. Here she developed skills to work with people from a range of diverse backgrounds and stages of life. Since then, Bonnie has worked for an EAP Provider that worked predominantly within the mining industry of Australia

Bonnie utilises a range of psychological intervention treatments such as Cognitive Behaviour therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Financial Counselling, Behavioural Activation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and many other methods. Bonnie has experience providing psychological interventions for, relationship difficulties, chronic pain, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, redundancies, childhood trauma, obsessive compulsive disorder, alcohol dependency, mood disorders, aggression, grief and loss. Bonnie has also experienced working within crisis situations. For example, working on-site post critical incident and 24/7 crisis support counselling.
