Amanda Boucaut

Amanda is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and has completed a Masters in Professional Psychology. Amanda has experience working with children, young people, young adults and families across a range of settings including youth mental health services and the child protection system. This has involved working with young people with a range of presenting concerns including anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, adjustment to major life changes or events, social and relationship issues, schooling issues, anger and aggression, sleeping difficulties, grief and loss, neurodiversity, and sexuality and gender diversity.  Amanda is passionate about providing an individualised approach that is tailored to a young person’s unique situation while still being grounded in evidence based practice. She is trained and experienced in a range of psychological interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Schema Therapy. Amanda is also a certified Circle of Security® Parenting™ program facilitator. Amanda aims to provide a warm and authentic approach to support and empower individuals and families to cultivate strengths, overcome adversity, and reach their full potential.

Amanda is also an accredited supervisor and is able to support provisional psychologists completing the 4+2 or 5+1 pathway.
