Sharon has practiced as a counselling psychologist in the areas of trauma and children and families with complex needs, women’s health, mood and anxiety disorders, domestic violence, and sexual abuse and assault. She has substantial experience in providing Employee Assistance and supervision as well as developing and delivering training.

Sharon has managed a range of community programs in Queensland and spent two years managing a number of clinical and family programs in Victoria.

Sharon has been involved in the development of models of practice aimed at best addressing the needs of individuals and enhancing their abilities and coping skills. Sharon has a strong practice and research background and a commitment to combining research and practice with a focus on articulated models of practice and measurable outcomes.
